Rumors, rumors, rumors. There are so many rumors about Miley Cyrus dating
so-and-so, and not dating so-and-so that it’s getting ridiculous.

I’m just going to give it to you straight from Miley herself. The bottom line is
that she is the only one who knows for sure, so here is what she says:

Miley said she’s not dating Nick Jonas, even though she bought him a bike for
his birthday and he bought her a few great holiday and birthday gifts. She said
the Jonas Brothers and her were on a tour together and were like neighbors that
she could never escape from and dating was out of the question. Miley said about
Nick, “Been there, done that, tried. Now we’re super-close friends.”

She went on to say about Nick, “I don’t want a boyfriend. Nick is my buddy, my
really, really good friend. We’re close. I’m working really hard and I don’t want
anyone to rock the boat.”

How about co-star, Mitchell Musso? They’ve been seen to be looking pretty cozy
together in public but Miley claims that he’s not a love interest.

She’s been seen in public with a number of boys and men, but so far, she’s not
talking about them. Was she dating her 22-year-old back-up dancer, “Marshall”?
Was “Thomas Sturges” her boyfriend? Who was the older guy, the member of her
backstage crew, that she was seen flirting with, cheek-kissing and enjoying each
other’s company with in Miami?

The thing is, Miley is a celeb and hangs around with celebs. She doesn’t go to a
public school so she really only knows boys and men in the celebrity world. She
doesn’t get her daily dose of boys like most girls do, so she dates within her world.

Not only is she a star but Miley just so happens to like hugging and kissing boys. That’s
who she is. That’s her personality. She’s very touchy, affectionate and flirtatious.

She’s single, cute, silly, fun-loving and a multi-talented star. Who wouldn’t want to date her?
She likes cute, tall, dark and handsome guys, with cool style and good, solid family values.

About her future “Mr. Right”, Miley Cyrus says, “I think a guy should be able to turn on the
charm and not be fake about it. He has to be a gentleman. I’ve got high-standards…as I
should, my dad says! All girls should!”

Yeah, Miley Cyrus is certainly going places and she’s going to go as far as she wants.
I’m a big believer in how we create in our lives what we think about most. Miley knows
this too and she has a plan of action, great coaching all around her, great parents
and a will to succeed. Hopefully she is focusing on and thinking about success.

She’s growing as a musical and entertainment star. She’s growing and maturing as a
young woman. And she’s evolving in all areas of her life. Miley is 15, going on 16 and
her 16th year is going to bring some big, surprising, wonderful changes.
Btw, she’ll be 16 on November 23, 2008. I have a big story about her birthday, coming soon .

I’m predicting right here on this blog that she’s going to evolve away from her Disney
roots and from Hannah Montana. I believe that she’s going to take the path of
becoming more of a rock star than a pop star. Her musical roots may be from
country and pop music but she really loves being a rocker.

She kind of did make a couple of little mistakes along the way but who among us
hasn’t made a few mistakes along life’s path? I’m still making mistakes and I’m a
lot older than Miley is.

Some pictures surfaced that probably shouldn’t have and there will probably be more.
She overcame all the previous pics and hopefully will be able to overcome the rest.
I say “hopefully” because they’re getting sexier and sexier as they come out. Two of the
pics I’ve seen are definitely not fit for publishing on this blog but some of the newest ones are.

By now, you all know about and have seen the pics of Miley Cyrus
appearing in Vanity Fair magazine wearing a white sheet.

On the Today show, Billy Ray Cyrus was asked about those
pictures. He said, “That’s just a daddy who loves his daughter a whole lot.
I’m her dad, she’s my daughter. If a daddy hasn’t hugged his daughter
recently, I recommend he does.”

He admitted that he wasn’t there for the pics of Miley with the sheet.

He said, “I was surprised when I saw it, but hey, that’s life. Stuff happens.
I didn’t complain ’cause my dad always said, ‘the more you stomp in poop,
the more it stinks.”‘

I think he handled the controversy surrounding those pics very well.

I read an article today about Ms. Miley Cyrus and I wondered if it was true.
I’m sure it is because it came from a very reputable source that I have
access to and I have no reason to doubt it. This is from an interview with Miley.

Miley is quoted in the article and here’s pretty much what she said:

She was talking about her family life.
She admitted that her mom, Tish, is the disciplinarian in the family
and that she has her dad wrapped around her little finger.

LOL! That sounds just like something my daughter would say,
and in fact, it’s true. She does have me wrapped around her little finger!

But dad, Billy Ray, doesn’t like it when she gets into it with her mom.

One day, Miley was wearing a Juicy Couture suit and a really short belly
tank top under it. Her mom told her to change because the t-top was too short.

Miley said something like, “but mom, that’s the way it’s supposed to fit.
I don’t want to look like I’m covered with a muumuu in a Juicy suit.
I want to look good! You told me to always look my best at all times.”

Well, Miley started to get really obnoxious with her mom, who promptly sent her
to her room. (Has this ever happened to you?) Her mom told her to get her act
together or she was going to take her phone away.

I guess Miley didn’t like that idea too much because she said, “fine, take my
phone away! Who am I going to call anyway?” She was pretty upset about
the thought of losing her cell phone, not to mention being grounded to her room.

Can you imagine that? World famous TV star, pop music star and actress
Miley Cyrus getting grounded? lol. It happens to the best of us, doesn’t it?

Luckily, Miley calmed down and came out of her room smiling and apologizing
and all was well after that (until the next time, I’m sure).

Tish didn’t take it all too seriously. She’s been a teenager before and
remembers what it was like. She said, “every teenager has gotten grounded
at one time or another and they always seem to get over it, learn from it
and get on with their life. No big deal. It wasn’t the first time and
probably won’t be the last time that Miley gets grounded.”
