Emily Osment - Lilly Truscot

Emily Osment

Plays: Lilly Truscott/Lola LaFonda

Lilly Truscott is best friends with Miley Stewart and Oliver Oken. Lilly was a huge Hannah Montana fan even before she found out about Miley’s secret. She found out about Miley’s secret, when she sneaked into Hannah’s dressing room after a show. Miley slipped once and called Miley ‘Hannah’, which made Miley very upset, byt they soon made up and have stayed best friends ever since.

Lilly and Miley always make up in the end, even though they do argue from time to time. Lilly is an outgoing and fun character, a bit tomboy-ish and a little bit skater, but she’s definitely good friend-material. Lilly is a really bad singer, along with the rest of her family, which was mentioned in the Song Sung Bad episode.

Every time Lilly likes an idea from another character, usually Miley, she either breaks into a “happy dance”, or say “Ooh, Lilly Likey”, or when she is dressed as her secret alias Lola - “Ooh! Lola Likey!”.

Jason Earles - Jackson Rod Stewart

Jason Earles

Plays: Jackson Rod Stewart

Jason plays Jackson, Miley/Hannah’s big brother. Jackson is a laid-back, goofy high-school student, who’s more interested in his image, food and girls than schoolwork. He prefers being silly before serious. In the first season he was best friend with Cooper, whose sister he secretly dated but later broke up with. His present best friend is Thor.

Just like his dad, Jackson treats his sister as Miley rather than Hannah and he works hard on protecting her secret. In fact, to help keep Miley’s secret, he once posed as Hannah’s boyfriend - and used his new-found fame to increase his status and popularity. Jackson is pretty clever at times, getting himself out of sticky situations. He comes up with schemes all the time, involving himself and sometimes his sister, that fails more often than not.

Billy Ray Cyrus - Robbie Ray Stewart

Billy Ray Cyrus

Plays: Robbie Ray Stewart

Billy Cyrus has the perfect role for him in the Hannah Montana Show, playing the father of his real-life daughter Miley. At first, Billy refused to even consider the role, but Miley and his wife Trish kept insisting that he was the obvious actor for the role, and finally he caved in. The producers absolutely loved his audition and he was offered the part. Playing Robbie Stewart allows Billy to sing every now and then, and one of the episodes featured a song from Billy’s 2005 album, “Wanna Be Your Joe”. The writers often throw in jokes about Billy’s past and his big hit “Achey Breaky Heart”, all with Billy’s blessing.

Robbie gave up his career as famous singer, to take care of his two children, Jackson and Miley, after his wife died. When Miley is Hannah, Robbie is her manager and producer and he writes most of her songs. When he is Hannah’s manager, he wears a moustache to avoid being recongized as Miley’s dad. Robbie is really fond of sugar, and has been known to run more than a mile to get a slice of cake. In every episode Robbie gives his daughter advice, using reverse psychology to get it through.

Miley Cyrus - Hannah Montana

Miley Cyrus

Plays: Miley Stewart / Hannah Montana

Miley Cyrus, daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Finley Cyrus is the star of Disney Channel’s popular series “Hannah Montana”. Miley plays Miley Stewart, a girl who leads a double life being both a regular teenage girl and a pop star, Hannah Montana. She and her best friend Lilly deals with everyday problems and the popular girls, but they both immensely enjoy her famous lifestyle, trying to fend off the paparazzis.

Miley was born in Tennessee, but moved to California with her dad and brother. It’s unclear when they actually moved from Tennessee, but in one episode it is hinted that the family moved after Jackson was being made fun of after a girl inhaled his moustache during a kiss. It’s known that Miley has lived in Malibu at least since sixth grade. She met her two best friends Lilly and Oliver when she first arrived at Seaview Middle School, and revealed her secret to them.

Due to her living a double life, she often gets herself involved in awkward situations, and as Miley in her normal day-to-day life she makes the same mistakes everyone else does. Her problems grow deeper when she moves to the same high-school as her brother Jackson.

Miley has two signature phrases in the show: “Ya think?!?” whenever someone is stating the obvious, and “Sweet niblets!” when she finds herself in frustration or panic.
